Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. (NKJ)

And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." (NKJ)
For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. (NKJ)
EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO COMMITED THAIR SOULS TO GOD IN WELL-DOING...
"Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!" (NKJ)
And the priests and the prophets spoke to the princes and all the people, saying, "This man deserves to die! For he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears."
Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and all the people, saying: "The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city with all the words that you have heard.
"Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronounced against you.
"As for me, here I am, in your hand; do with me as seems good and proper to you.
"But know for certain that if you put me to death, you will surely bring innocent blood on yourselves, on this city, and on its inhabitants; for truly the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing." (NKJ)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
"If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
"But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up." (NKJ)
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. (NKJ)
"My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you." (NKJ)
eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; (NKJ)
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-- (NKJ)
