why we can eat idol food

In the case of the Idol food sold at the market place it is not in the context of worshipping the Idol. All food is good, created by God, and if it is eaten with a prayer of thanksgiving to God then it is clean (this would not be the case if it was eaten in the presence of an idol in the context of a worship ceremony to that idol).
