Location: Joppa Description: This alley, next to the traditional house of Simon the Tanner, leads down toward the sea. Peter was staying in such a place when he had the vision of the sheet lowered from heaven filled with unclean animals. Following this vision, God sent him to the the centurion Cornelius at Caesarea to preach the gospel to this Gentile community. |
