Location:
Sower's Cove
Description:
View to the southeast from the Sower's Cove. Wadi Samak, near the center of the far shore, marks the northern border of the Decapolis. When Jesus finished his teaching in parables at the Cove, He and His disciples went into the house and later sailed across the lake to the harbor of Gadara, just out of view to the right. Somewhere en route they encountered a fierce storm, probably blowing down from Wadi Samak.
